Kendall's 1st Birthday Party (in pictures)

Kendall at 11 months old

*Pulling up on everything and cruising along furniture
*babbles all the time. mama is your new word :)
*teething has been major this month! You got one of your front teeth in. Teething is really rough on you sweet girl.
*super clingy to mommy this month and you cry almost the entire time I leave you anywhere like bible study, church, or the Y. The nice ladies in the childcare end up holding you the entire time I am gone.
*Still not a good eater of table food. You love blueberries, cuties, and ritz crackers and everything else is just hit or miss. :/
*Napping has been harder on you this month also because of teething. You nap twice a day but often times one or both naps end up being in the car because you don't want to nap in your crib and we just end up getting out of the house.

Kendall 10 months old

*second word is "nigh nigh"
*waves goodbye and night night
*favorite foods are blueberries, little smokies, chicken nuggets, pancakes, cutie oranges (all cut up in tiny pieces of course)
*pulling up
*likes music toys and likes to dance (bouncing up and down)
*Tongue is ALWAYS out (Ava did this as well when she was a baby)
*loves to be held and is such a snuggler. Every time I pick her up from the nursery at bible study, church, or the YMCA she is always being held.
*does a high pitched squeal when she sees dogs or stuffed animals :)
*naps twice a day
*Goes to bed around 6:30
*this has been the worst month for waking up in the middle of the night. She wakes up 2-3 times a night and I nurse her back to sleep. I think it's due to teething but she has always woken up in the middle of the night (just not this much) so it might be out of habit too. :(

Kendall 8 months

Our Sweet Kendall,
        Sadly this is the best we could do for your 8th month picture. We moved out of our house in Carrollton the day after you turned 8 months so all of our furniture was on the moving truck and mommy and daddy's heads were spinning with a thousand thoughts. It makes me sad to think that you will never remember the home we raised you in for most of your first year. Here are a few things about you this month...

*started eating finger foods but doesn't eat much
*likes to drink water from sippy cup
* can roll over both ways and can sit up on her own
*takes two naps (although still needs a third nap but wont take one)
*still waking up in the middle of the night
*likes playing in jumperoo
*sits up in bath seat

 Amidst the craziness of this month and all the sadness we experienced saying goodbye to our sweet friends, wonderful church and schools, and a home that will always be dear to my heart I have been reminded that no matter where we go as long as I am with you, your brother and sister, and your daddy my heart will be content.

Kendall 9 months

*
*crawling
* two teeth
*pulling up to knees
*says dada and tries to say night night
* has waved bye bye a few times
*eating finger foods but doesn't eat much.
*waking up at least once a night.
*favorite toys are shaker toys with noise, Ava and Connor's toy computers
*lights up when Connor, Ava, or daddy come in the room.
*gives a shy smile and buries her head in my shoulder when people talk to her and smile at her
*is a very happy baby! If you are ever upset all I have to do is hold you and you calm down.
