*You weigh 29 1/2 lbs. (94%) You are 34" long (90%). and your head size is 19.5" (92%)
*You wear size 24months/2T clothes and size 7 shoe. We have realized in these last two months that your right foot is about a 1/2 size bigger than your left foot (that right shoe is always harder to get on and a little tight)
*Your hair is starting to grow longer and longer and sticks up all over your head. You have had two trims but that fine hair of yours just likes to stand straight up regardless (you can thank your daddy for that ;)
*You take 1 nap, lasting about 2 hours, and go to sleep for the night around 6:30 and sleep about 13 hours. You are a rock star sleeper! You must have gotten the "sleepy gene" from me. (Your sister says that "sleeping is not my best thing" so I'm glad that one of you likes to sleep.)
*You always sleep with your two taggy blankies and you must have both of them. You like to carry them around everywhere with you. They have definitely become your "comfort blankets".
*You want to eat all the time and have become very particular with your eating and drinking preferences. If you have chicken nuggets or french fries you must have ketchup to dip them in and you refuse to drink juice that has been diluted with water. Your favorite snacks are pop corn, goldfish crackers, raisins, graham crackers, and cheese sticks.
*You like to color, push your toy lawn mower, play in the sandbox, throw a ball (especially if we are at the YMCA playing in the gym). You also like to look at books, watch mowers across the street, collect leaves outside, play with play dough, and push your trucks around.
*You attempt to say a lot of words but most of the time they sound nothing like what they are supposed to. We are so proud of you for trying!
*When we pray you put your hands together and always say amen and Jesus. It makes my heart happy!
*You do so well being left alone now. You like to play in the church nursery and at the YMCA child care. I tell you "mommy always comes back" and you now know that is true so I think you are able to relax a little more when I leave you.
* You know almost all of your body parts.
*You blow the cutest kisses, wave bye bye, and go in backwards for hugs ( your back faces the other person and you wait for them to wrap their arms around to hug you)
*You like to be silly and anytime we laugh at you for something you will do it over and over for a reaction. You like to tickle daddy and that gives you lots of giggles.
*Many people comment on how calm and easy going you are. I have to agree (about 80% of the time. you are 1 1/2 and a boy so you do have your moments!). You seem to have a little bit of your sister's shy personality. When people talk to you you bury your head in my shoulder or give them a shy look.
Connor, I could not be more proud and happy to be your mommy. You are absolutely precious to me and I wouldn't change anything about you! You are becoming such a big boy and it gives me so much joy to watch you learn new things and grow up to be the little boy that God created you to be. You have my heart!
