We took Ava to get her 1st haircut yesterday! Dad was a little hesitant at first but when I brought her in the living room after her morning nap and he saw that hair I think he knew it was time too. We went to a place called Hair Diddle Diddle and it was really cute. Ava sat in a little pink car and watched Dora while the nice lady cut her hair. She was pretty cooperative until it was time to cut her bangs and then she was turning her head a lot, making it difficult for the lady to cut her hair. Luckily she never cried and sat still long enough for her to get a little trim. She cut a little off the bottom and in the front but left the sides so that it would grow out like a girl's hair should. Most people wouldn't even know she got a haircut but we are happy that it is no longer in her eyes.

Way to go Ava-- getting your hair cut like such a big girl!
The next time you get those bangs cut and you don't like it, just think, 'you have to suffer to be beautiful!'
I love the blow dryer picture. Madison is terrified of the dryer so it should be interesting when we go to get her first cut.
Ava looks beautiful! The hair dryer picture is cracking me up! We can't wait to go to Hair Diddle Diddle one day too! :)
a big girl beauty!! ;)
Haircut looks really cute. I love seeing her in E's clothes. Awe, we miss you.
