This past weekend we went to The Woodlands and as always our stay was jammed pack with activities. My friend from college, Beth Ann, was getting married on Saturday and Bekah was also having her 2nd birthday party in Houston on Saturday. Unfortunately one of my horrible migraines decided to literally blindside me (I get blindspots as a precursor to the most awful headache ever!) so I spent the majority of the afternoon "napping" so that I could try and fight it off. We made it to Bekah's party, but I have to admit, as we were driving there I was wondering if I would be able to make it through the party. Thanks to some more tylenol, some food and water, and seeing the wonderful Burkhart family that we love so much I was temporarily able to feel better again. ( I didn't bring my camera with me to Bekah's party but it was fabulous and the birthday girl could not have been cuter!). After we left the party I unfortunately ended up feeling bad again and was not able to make it to Beth Ann's wedding like we had planned. So much for wearing Rebekah's pretty dress and my new shoes! By Sunday I felt back to my old self again and was able to enjoy spending some time with Papa, Gramielle, Jim, and a few of Mikey's friends from high school. In some of the pictures from the weekend you will see Ava riding in style in a backpack designed to carry children while hiking. A friend of Papa's is letting us borrow it for our fun hiking adventure in Jackson Hole, Wyoming this summer. Ava loved being in it, who wouldn't actually, so now I am looking forward even more to our trip. Before we left she also got to have an Easter Egg Hunt in P & G's backyard since they wont be with us for Easter.
