Date Night!

On Saturday night Mikey and I went out for a fun night together. Lately things have been so busy that we havent had a lot of time to go out on a date. I know you mothers out there are probably thinking just wait till the baby is here! I can only imagine how much a baby is going to change our lives so for now we are trying to squeeze in as much together time as we can. I hope we always try and make it a priority to get away and spend time with one another. My husband is truly my best friend!

We started the day off by getting lots of Christmas Shopping done. I think we checked about 7 people off our list which is huge! For our date night we went to a quaint little romantic restaurant in Dallas called Adelmo's. We are a big fan of this place now. It is super cozy, great food, and fairly good prices. They even bring you bread, pickeled veggies, AND a dinner salad all before your meal. My salmon even came with two sides, not just the usual teeny tiny fillet. Can you tell I am loving food these days! Anyways, I highly recommend going to Adelmo's. It is on Knox close to Restoration Hardware, for my fellow Dallas friends.
After dinner we went to see The Night Before Christmas Ballet put on by the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet. It was at SMU and our tickets only cost $10!!! We really enjoyed it and plan on doing another ballet there in the future if they have them. SMU's campus is absolutely gorgeous with all the Christmas lights so we walked around for a little while after the ballet and took some pictures. Mikey was excited to show me around.
Before heading home we also drove around and looked at all the pretty lights in Highland Park. Beautiful!
