Look what we found at the Aboretum? A real princess carriage!! This princess was in heaven!
Connor was fascinated with the pumpkins.
"Hey kids look at Mommy." Not a single one of them both looking.
These remind me so much of Ava's first time in the pumpkin patch. My babies!
The straw is always a big hit too
There weren't many people there and we had the whole pumpkin patch all to ourselves
Since we went on Monday it was a "Mommy and Me day" so they had a petting zoo, face painting, and crafts! Score!
These face painters were doing intricate animal faces on the kids but Ava wanted no part of that. We asked if she could have a small ladybug on her cheek and the lady in the weird hat said "only the ones printed on the card". Your telling me you can do a full tiger face but you won't do a simple ladybug that will take 2 seconds to do?! The man said he could paint a heart. She was happy with that so I didn't complain.
There were tables set up where the kids could color and she spent about 15 minutes coloring a nice picture.
Meanwhile, Connor was entertaining himself by eating leaves.
We also collected leaves that had fallen from the tree as well as "squirrel nuts" , aka acorns. It was the perfect fall day with my two little buddies!
