Thanksgiving

We were in The Woodlands for Thanksgiving this year with Papa and Gramielle. We had a short visit with Gigi and Bpop at their house in The Woodlands too. The majority of our Thanksgiving day was spent at The Schroeder's house in the country. The Schroeder family are dear friends to P & G and were very gracious to open up their home to us on Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful dinner but the highlight of our time there was watching Ava ride "Smoke" the horse. We thought she was just going to pet and maybe feed him but when Shelly asked Ava if she wanted to ride him there was no hesitation or fear. My fearless Ava. Smoke is a huge horse and seeing my tiny girl riding on such a large animal was pretty cool. She loved pretending to be a cowgirl and she was beaming with joy the entire time. Love moments like that! Connor sat with Ava on top of Smoke at the end of her ride and he thought that was pretty fun as you can see from the pictures.

Pretty much the only pictures we took that weekend are of Ava on the horse. Go figure! We walked around the waterway and Market Street in The Woodlands and got a couple of pictures of us in front of the large Christmas tree but that is about it.
