We had some down time on Saturday before the wedding so we went to the pool at our hotel with alli and greg. My uncle Matt and Aunt Lisa met us there to hang out, along with cousin Katelyn.
The kids LOVED going up and down the elevator at the hotel. They smiled and looked at each other every time we got in and they even danced with excitement (or the buddy shuffle as we call Connor's special dance moves).

and the cowboy boots were just the perfect touch! Britney and I found the flower girl dresses at H&M. It was the first place we looked together and we knew they would be perfect. Ava's second cousins (my cousin's kids) Aubrey and Everett joined Ava as flower girl and ring bearer.

The wedding started at 7 and for those of you who know us well know that Connor's bedtime is well before that. It was a good thing the ceremony was outside because it was enough distraction to keep him somewhat quiet. Halfway through Mikey had to walk around with him but they were still able to see and hear what was going on.

After the ceremony and a few pictures I took the boys back to the hotel so that Mikey could put Connor to sleep. Unfortunately that meant he wouldnt be able to attend the reception. :( I was sad about it but we both knew it was the best thing to do. After dropping them off I quickly headed back to the reception and made it back just in time for the first dance. Lucky for me they had group pictures to take after the ceremony so it bought me some time without missing out on too much.
I just love this moment where my Aunt Kassandra is watching her daughter dance with her dad.
Ava danced the night away with all the little girls that were there! She partied hard and didnt stop until the reception ended around 11. WAY past her bedtime! I didn't want her to miss a single minute of it though.
