That is the writing assignment I gave my students today and I wanted to share a few of them. Some are really cute and funny!
If I were president...
"I would have a law to have candy because kids love candy. The other law I would have is kids are in charge of adults. The end."
"I would make everybody fancy. I would name the town Fancy Town ."
"I would give people money and pass out ice cream, money, brownies, and pop to everyone in the world and I would make everything free."
"I would make cats and dogs be free. No drugs aloud. I would be give every bus a seatbelt."
"I would say no smoke because it is bad for you and everyone would have to play outside for two hours a day. Be respectful."
One of my teammates' students wrote this "I would make movie theaters have toothpicks." When she asked him why he wrote that he said because popcorn gets stuck in your teeth. Ha!
