31 weeks and only 9 more to go!!! The big day is going to be here SO soon. Is this really happening? Am I really going to be a mother in 9 weeks? What an awesome life change we are in for!
As far as updates, Little Miss Ava is still very active especially at night when I am trying to settle down and go to sleep. I feel the most movement and my belly bounces the most on my left side. That must be where her little feet are. Around Christmas time I started feeling her hickup! I do have to say that all that moving about really helps me to bond with her more. I know that sounds silly but she is about 4 1/2 lbs now and every movement she makes reminds me of the fact that there is a little baby in there and she is already so dependent on me. Such a cool thing!
I haven't slowed down too much at work. I do teach from my chair more often than before but I still have energy and like to take Macy for walks as often as I can at the end of the day. My 4 legged furry baby has no clue what is in store for her! My students have also become drawn to my protruding belly. When they hug me their heads are right there. I am waiting for Ava to give one of them a little kick and see what their reaction is. They love to talk to her and give her little pats! I still haven't had the talk with them about me not returning to finish the school year. I will wait as long as possible to break the news.
I met with a pediatrician today and really liked her but want to meet with at least one more to make sure. She doesn't have weekend hours so that is the only downside. :( I also have another doctor's appointment tomorrow!
