Childbirth Class # 1

On Sunday we went to our first childbirth class on breastfeeding. It was a couples class so Mikey went with me. Thank goodness he came with me because I would have been the only one there without their husband if he didnt! The class was so informative and we learned a lot. We both were glad that we went. I highly recommend it to all my pregnant friends who are considering breastfeeding. The lactation consultant teaching the class said learning how to breastfeed will be one of the hardest things you do in your life and I believe her after talking with so many friends who struggled with it in the beginning! I know it will not be an easy task but I do feel a little more prepared now that we took this class. Our next class is on baby care/CPR and then our last one is on labor and birth techniques and a tour of the hospital.
