Mikey's mom gave me an early birthday present a couple of weeks ago, my very first sewing machine!! I love it! Since I have no clue what to do with a sewing machine Amy came over for some sewing 101. She showed me how to make an adorable onesie adorned with ruffles and a matching flower clip for my little girl. I had so much fun and can't wait for more projects. I already have a few in mind!

Hooray for you. I loved having a sewing buddy! Also, love the new flower clip for Ava. FYI, just get the ruffles wet, press them down a little, then hang it to dry to make them lay flat again. They get a little crinkly in the dryer.
Congratulations! I am so excited for you! You will have to give us a tutorial on those cute bows, I love them!
oo so stylish. i think i have a shirt that could make ava and i twinkies. maybe i'll have to ask jenny to teach me how to sew...
Very cute...so proud of you. Here is a project I am dying to do but don't have anytime. I was going to try with some of my shirts since they are so little then dad's shirts can come later. http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/girls-shirt-dress
