Beaumont

Before our camping trip we went to Beaumont to visit Gigi and Bpop. As always it was a weekend full of fun!!

Ava's grandmothers know the way to her heart....crafts! Gigi had a box full of new crafts for Ava to do while she was there. 

Everyone, including Macy, did a lot of swimming while we were there

Love this one of Ava and Gigi. Such pure joy radiates from these two when they are together!

This was Connor's first time ever in the pool 

Gigi and Bpop bought this cardboard house for Ava about 2 years ago and they bring it out everytime she comes over. She loves it!! Every time we visit it gets decorated more and more, including the inside. She thought that sticking clumps of play dough to the walls inside would be a nice touch this time around. She always makes me laugh with her crazy ideas!

One of our Beaumont outings was to go to the Firehouse Museum of Texas

We were practically the only ones there so it was quiet and low key. Loved seeing all the old firetrucks, even the ones pulled by horses!

After naptime it was back in the pool! We bought her these floaties while we were there and I am pretty sure Ava thinks they are life changing! She believes she can really swim with them on and felt so proud of herself for "swimming like Macy". 

Thoughtful Gigi planned a special tea party with Ava. First, they went to a local bakery to pick out some yummy sandwiches and desserts. When they got back they picked flowers from her garden as the centerpiece.

She either cheeses it up for the camera or wants nothing to do with having her picture taken.

She is getting good at riding that scooter. New tricks every time. This time it was riding in circles.

Another day of swimming! She was getting brave and wanted to jump off the sides. 

Those cheeks get kissed by his momma at least 100 times a day!
