The Wiggles!

My Ava and I had a special girls day and went to see The Wiggles on Saturday! Those that know Ava well know that she loves her some Wiggles. Daddy saw that they were coming to town and he thought it would be something fun for her and I to do together. We needed some mommy/daughter time!

I thought she would be even more excited if I made her and I shirts of our favorite Wiggles.
Mommy was Anthony (the crazy blue Wiggle)  and Ava was Greg (the head Wiggle honcho).
To make the shirts I found the logo online and printed it on some paper that allows you to make your own iron on. So easy! I was a little surprised we were the only ones in the whole theater who had cool Wiggles shirts on! Couldn't have been prouder to walk hand in hand with my little yellow Wiggle. :)

We had pretty good seats (this is a zoomed in picture so we weren't quite this close). Ava sat wide eyed and quiet most of the time. She was keeping tabs on all of them and anytime one would go off stage she would ask where they went. She kept asking where Dorothy, Wags, and Henry were and after about 45 minutes they finally came out too.

"Wake up Jeff!"

They are big on making everyone in the audience feel special. Murray, the red Wiggle, took the time to read every.....single....sign that people brought for the show. He even had to go out into the audience and up towards the balcony to read some of them.

The Wiggles are retiring after 21 years of being together so we were happy we were able to catch them on their last world tour! I made a wonderful memory with my sweet girl and even better, I think she actually likes me again. :)

Connor and Daddy had some special boy time as well and went shopping at Golf Galaxy for a new putter.

Oh Vaughanie what a sweet memory! And what an awesome mommy you are to have made the shirts and to do that for her! Go Mikey too, he sure is a great guy to hook you up with tickets, whether it is wiggles or U2! : ) What a beautiful mommy/daughter pair you are!
